If the pump is not leaking, I wouldn't replace it. New ones won't last anywhere near the time a gen pump will if looked after. Thermostat, is worth swapping while your there That will only add $20 to the bill. Unless the heater is not working I see no point replacing the heater tap at this stage.

You already have a long list of parts you need, now I've gone back and checked. You should do a comp test before spending $500 on what you need to fix it.
I honestly dont know if it was leaking or not, my car is a state ... But thought might be worth while replacing the pump ,if my radatior tank cracked?? I took it off and it spins pretty freely, so maybe water pump is good an was just the oil in my coolant that cracked it !?

didn't get far as had to go get a fuel line tool.
Leave it hooked up. Just turn it over, so it goes over the fuse box. Lay some plastic on the fuse box first.
Hope you've disconnected the battery first.

l'll be cashed up Friday, as l'll need fuel.

l'll come Saturday morning.
I'll pm you with my phone number, so you can sms me your address Saturday morning.
I'm not sure if you can pm me? But you should be able to recieve them?

The contamination could have come through the lim gaskets?

The other advantage of doing a comp test is it's a good chance to get an idea on general health of the engine. If the comps are low or inconsistent it may not be worth dropping $500 in parts fixing it up.
Its just a work ...car stock standard, an im a civil labourer.... After what ive put it through id say its not healthy under the hood is a mixture of mud , dust an oil.... Ive taken this car where only 4WD should go , Cant tell whats leaked from where .. doing a massive clean while im in there

I dont think i want to know what the compression test would tell me.... Ignorance is bliss they say

Picks of water pump attached new one needed ?

If that pump is not leaking then it looks fine to me. I would not have pulled it off since it didn't need to come off. Now you will need a gasket.

If it spins ok, not notchy, leave it. Just get the gasket for it.

We'll sort the lim gaskets & coolant system for now?
