If you can live scan you can see it responding to pedal action.
If not, maybe a multimeter on the output while running it through it's mot Stable increase in voltage through out throttle
Unfortunately no access to a good enough scanner for this. Multimeter would be my best bet. Watch for stable voltage increase and decrease with the pedal movements. Thanks!

Fault codes?

Look up youtube clips or forum search how to do it & code numbers.
Code 15 - ECT Sensor - Voltage Too High - Auto Transmission Only

I did the ecu reset. I initially for a code 12 which I believe means the system is ok. I then got the above code....

When doing a fault code test it will always flash 12 3 times and then any stored codes IIRC.

I had a moment earlier and checked the plug and connections to the temp sensor. It looked OK.

I put my meter on the plug with it disconnected and measured 5V with ignition ON. I wriggled the wires along the loom to see if I would drop voltage/connection but nope it was stable at 5V.

Does anyone know the terminals numbers at the ECU? I would like to check for any corrosion and check the resistance of the cables while I'm at it.

If that all checks out I'll replace the temp sensor and hopefully that fixes the issue.

The manual one should be similar except of course the auto stuff that is missing.
