Get you speedo tested by some 'independant' authority for accuracy.
Contest it in court.
Tell the magistrate that the Police radar was wrong and you were not speeding.
He will tell you that the radar is a infallible scientific instrument, is always accurate, you must be telling porkies, then fine you a bit more than the notice, plus court costs.

The old radars used to be + or - 2kms/ hour and were recalibrated to ensure accuracy every couple of months. Add another 2kms for cruise control error and all of the sudden you could be up around the 5km mark. If you had C/C set at 105kms/hour, the radar could have you at 110.

112 in a 110 zone? Harsh that they booked you for 2kph over the limit.

I was assuming it was a 100kph zone, and that's why he had the C/C set at 105kph because they usually won't enforce it if you're only 5 kph above the speed limit.
If in fact OP was only 2kph over l would be taking it court. I won a similar case a few years ago.

VE speedometers read 4 to 5 over on normal stock tyres and wheels.
What have you done to it to be reading under?
