If you have a vy series 2 v6 with series 1 cats dont order an aftermarket catback, just get one made. I've ordered a series 2 and series 1 catback exhaust neither fit. If you have 1 cat then its a series 1. If you have to cats though you should be right to get a series 2 exhaust. Now i gotta cut...

So I've been told that there is actually not bulbs for the dials on the vy and vz commodores. So I just wanted to know how possible would it be to change the colour of the dial, even if it took buying an aftermarket one somewhere.

Yeah i pulled off the centre console and then unscrewed the screws holding in the trim around the gearstick but i need to take off the trim connecting the centre console storage which is gonna be a pain and im hoping there is an easier way.

I ordered a blue bulb but literally there is nothing out there about this. I don't know how to reach the bulb. Do I have have pull apart the centre console or what?

G,day i was just looking at mace engineering and was wondering if spending a fair bit more on the 1.9 with a stage 2 cam would be worth it over just getting the 1.98 ratio rockers. As there is apparently problems if the cams arent stock with 1.98 ratios. Cheers

The books recommends 10w/30 but im going to go with penrite 10w/40 semi synthetic.

My vy only has 113,000kms. Would it be better just for a 10w/40 or is it old enough now for a thicker oil?
