Hi all, I've found a set of cams on mace engineering these are the specs.
  • 222/222 at .050"
  • Intake Lift .260" (.514" lift at 1.98:1 rocker ratio)
  • Exhaust Lift .260" (.514" lift at 1.98:1 rocker ratio)
  • 114 LSA

Does anyone have any experience with these cams, and what sort of gains have you seen with them? I've contacted mace but I also want to get a second opinion.

I’ve got a Comp Cam with similar specs, also ‘Stage 2’ on a VS Ecotec.

Goes well it’s still drivable. It’s lost a bit of its twitchiness at 0-2000rpm which has made it a bit safer around town in the wet. The pickup in mid range is noticeable. The cam specs you’re looking at are slightly more aggressive than mine, but not materially different. I’m glad I didn’t go for a Stage 3 grind and am really happy with the one I’ve got.
