This is the plan, to get a running motor and put it in so I can do a full rebuild on the original motor and then drop her back in with a few extra HP

Maybe thats what you will have to do, get the whole car?
Another way of thinking about it, is spare parts if you get the one like yours.

Even if you have to grab a whole car for the driveline might be worth it to nab the L67

You could part the rest, keep any spares you might need and scrap the shell or on sell it as a roller minus whatever you need for yours.
This would be the path I would take.
