Want to do vz dash conversion into vs

How hard is it to get a vz dash working in a vs series 3 ute

Not easy. The VZ dash data is driven from the PCM via the CAN bus which ins't compatible with the VS PCM.

I suppose its doable but a awful lot of work and everything will need modding.....buy a vz prob be cheaper in the long run

Not to mention the dash doesn't physically fit into the cluster space.

I've got the whole dash bcm ecu loom the lot including door cards ready to go I know the sides need to be trimmed 45mm a side more wondering off the vz loom will plug inside engine bay or of I need to splice wires and if the air con box will fit

Down side is vs hamdbrake is in completlydifferent position so I need to modify that as well
