Bid on a monaro(110k 04 manual)at loyds auctions only got to 36k, reserve was apparently 50k.

I watch the price and numbers of Monaros on Carsales.
There are about 100 more now, than about 12 > 18 months ago, at dreaming prices, but I doubt if they are selling.
I may as well speculate on the high prices for insurance, because if it gets written-off and I get out unscathed, I will just take the money and not replace it.
High value = high premiums, but I can handle that.

Shannons are pretty good my vf2 ss dropped from 50k to 45k and one call and back to 50k.

Maybe I'm out of touch with values,, just bought a clean orginal vt ss gen3 for 7.5k and insured for 12.5k no questions.

I have just received my insurance renewal for the vh from Shannon's. The premium has increased by $20 and the insured value has increased from $50,000 to $52,500.

I’m not with Shannon’s but I just received a renewal notice for my insurance. I was anticipating that the insurance company might lower the agreed value after I requested it be increased last year. I was pleasantly surprised, the agreed value on the renewal has increased to $66,250 (up from $60,000, or 10.4%). At least that saves me from making a phone call! The premium has increased by 7.4%.
