Remove the fuse located above the battery. Should be marked entertainment or something similar. Leave overnight. Put the fuse back in the morning. Put the cover back on the fuse block.
Turn the ignition on. Screen etc should work again.

The data mismatch and blank screen would be normal of the headunit was replaced but not VIN matched to the car. This also happens if the screen is replaced and not VIN matched.

Also if a battery was replaced and the positive connected last, and arcing occurs, there may be damaged circuits in a module somewhere. Finding the somewhere will require far more specialised tools that a fortune teller and a crystal ball.

Yes the battery is in the boot. Above the battery is a fuse block. A black box. Remove the cover. There is a fuse that says entertainment or headunit or something along those lines.

Remove it.

Leave it out overnight. Don’t just pull it out and put it back in. It has to sit for an extended period without power to that circuit. So overnight an easy one.

You slide the gear selector over into the slot that allows up and down shifts.

Active Select. Has a plus and minus for up a gear and down a gear.
