Hey guys, I have a sv6 z series commodore Ute with a growler cold air intake and I keep getting an engine code, I scanned it and it said bank 1 and 2 were running lean, so I need a tune for a cold air intake? And if so how much will it cost? Thanks

And what were the DTC's ?
What Engine ?
How many K's ?
Any mods ? [apart from the CAI]
Any damage ?
Any Vac Leaks ?
Any Exhaust Leaks ?

Hmm, Possible Chains !

What if there was a way admins could have this as a standard template when creating a thread? Would save alot of headaches.

Just put it back as it was.
Running lean will burn things out inside that engine.

A tune will be around $1000-1500 and you’ll want to get it done asap as running lean isn’t good for engine longevity.

This may or may not be helpful. I fitted a growler CAI to my VF LFX ute. Started getting codes straight away. Spoke to the guys I bought it off..no need for a tune they say. In my case ( and apparently very common issue ) the ground bolt on the drivers side firewall that goes through the CAI housing wasn't seating properly and giving the required contact. I enlarged the mounting hole slightly and used the original mounting method ( behind CAI housing rather than through ) tightened it, cleared DTCs and problem solved. CAI is secured in a couple of points anyway so didn't cause any issues.
