just wondering, it being a vp ss, did it have the optioned fog/driving lights? and was the damage to the front end bad that it would have destroyed them?

i just finished wiring up my cruise control i got out of a vn calais into my exec. though it does not work :( light in switch block works, got everything wired up correctly though do not have brake switches, so in the pic, i just joined the brown wire to the green/grey wire. or does the it work...

its not really a more comfotable ride actually.....its quite horrible, am thinking on puttin in old shocks and see how they go

yeah the gearbox is working fine, just tested today putting into 5th along highway (normal spot) then while driving just pushed the gear stick forward that extra inch but not crunches or disengaging of the gear so could be what u said about the roll pin or so

i found today that i could push the gear lever more into 1st than what it did usually, pretty much also saying it has 2 spots for neutral :confused: put it in 1st, and then can go another inch forward, and thats the same with 3rd and 5th, 2nd and 4th are the same travel and going into those...

well thats what i thought initially....they gunna need to time to settle....but then my fronts are already noticably stiffer which is good.....im guessing because of the weight up the front of the car is because of that? so by what you have said, after a month or 2 the springs should have...

hey all, just fitted super lows to my wagon on sunday, aswell as adjustable panhard rod and new KYB shocks all round. though today have found that the rear is still "bouncy"...i dont know why, they are all new springs and shocks and i have this problem. any ideas? only thing i can think of is...

yeah i have taken out the buzzer for the mean while. when i first put it in, it was all working quite fine, its only when i put the l.e.d's in, more to the point, that plastic slip on the outside pcb that slides into the trip computer area, i was trying to take it out carfully and slipped...

with the seats meanvn, how do you take off the surround and button on the rear seats? they got 2 tabs on front and back as to what i could see, but got no clue on how to remove the buttons and foam

i dont think its that switch because the light still goes on and off in the cluster

hi all, had my level 3 for a while now, all warning chimes had been working quite fine until after i did the blue l.e.d conversion for the lcd's. Hooked it all back up the same but now when i drive the tone for when the hand brake is on while moving chimes away, even though the hand brake is...

...would just like to add here....holden can not set the milage back to a previous cluster...it is both illeagal and they just dont have the equipment to do it...so other than the post on page 5 about 3/4 down....is there any other way about changing the odometer?

the calais seats dont have the button ontop though....that and the seats of course are higher, so would i have to modify that aswell? make the button stalk longer?

ok then, what about the buttons? what you do about those? and then u say use the metal frame from the old bar top and attatch the other pieces to that?

what about the middle piece? the back is plastic and has hinge-arms down the bottom. could u possibly get a behind pic of yours?

hey all, just got my l3 conversion in today, just wondering on how to do this calibration, also my average speed is out, on hwy doin 110 and its saying 75.8 or 80 or around 65 area, when parked it had 69.5, i dont know whats wrong with it

yer i figured that the sliders wouldnt work without the BCM when i compared 2 RH SB's with the dimmer slider 1 being with the security light and one without the slider and just the button with all the cruise and arieal buttons, difference was 2 extra lines to the red light and then an extra...

the only other problem i have at the moment is on the PCB on the back of the L3 cluster on the 4th plug connecter is #8 which is "RHEO STAT", where abouts does this get wired into? also on my current L! cluster on the 3rd plug #3,4 & 5 have "2 PULSES" and #6 is "10 PULSES" where as on the L3...

hello all i had recently won off ebay the console window switches...the only problem was the idiot looks like he pulled the switch out as far as he could pull then cut the wires, so i have no plug, my question is, what colour wires from the switch, go to what colour wires on the power window...

this has just started to happen yesterday, my steering fluid isnt empty its up near the top, no leaks that i know of, but when its normally idling its as if im fighting against the power steering as if its turned off to turn the wheel, but when i rev it a bit maybe 1k rpm upwards the steering...
