    LE0 and 4SP Auto -> LY7 and 6SP Manual

    Yes, the LY7 also has the Intake runner valve, but it's part of the engine loom. If the matching loom is used to suit the engine, it's just an ecu reflash. Body modules, and dash loom are the same. only need for a dash loom change, is if it was going to be 5 speed auto swapped, and he wanted to...

    LEO 10HBA-H or LEO HBH-H

    They are, but you need the engine loom that comes with the new motor, and the ECU needs reflashing to suit. The cam phasers and sensors are different, so if you dont get the ecu reflashed, the car won't start. HBA is 2004-2005. HBH is 2006

    LE0 and 4SP Auto -> LY7 and 6SP Manual

    People do it all the time. You just need to make sure you get the engine loom that matches the new engine, because the cam sensors could be different depending on year. Then you just need your ecu reflashed to ly7/manual, happy days. No body mods needed, just add clutch pedal, and use a...

    Running a motor out of the car?

    Got a second hand motor to put in my vr v6, but I want to make sure it runs well before I muck around swapping it over. I've got a full engine loom, and a body loom too, but I just want to know the easiest way to make it run without being fully wired in a car. Any help?

    What donor parts are needed for LS2 swap?

    So, I've lined up a vz ss ute with a 6 litre and a t56 in it. Down the track I want the motor and box to make its way into my vr. I wanna wreck the rest of the car asap, as it was tboned on the passenger side. Just wondering if anyone knows all the parts I need to keep for my conversion? I'm...

    Vs clutch cable damper

    When I first did my conversion, I didn't have a damper, so while I waited for one to get, I just put vice grips on the cable, where the damper would go, to stop it pulling through the firewall. Rattled a bit, but did the job

    VR manual conversion problem - cuts out

    Sorry about the thread dig, but mine is pretty much the same, vr swapped, with vr ecu, but the loom might be vn/vp. Cuts out too. Where's the best place to get a tune done?

    Vr clutch cable/pedal box

    Ive got it wound all the way out, I ended up pulling it back out through the firewall and clamping it out, so at least it's drivable until I order a new one. Cable must be stretched.

    Vr clutch cable/pedal box

    Hey lads, just putting the finishing touches on my manual conversion, hit a stumbling block. I put the pedal box in before I did the trans swap, and everything seemed fine. Yesterday I got the t5 in, and got it all back together. Hooked up the clutch cable, and the pedal is sitting on the floor...
