Watched a YouTube vid recently about how thieves steal late model and even brand new cars. Basically they use a little handheld device that intercepts the radio frequency between the key fob and the car when the button is pressed to lock or unlock... Can't really tell you much more than that...

I did the similar mod where you desolder a couple resisters then resolder in new resisters with the Aux plug attached. I have a female jack in the centre console (could have put it anywhere) Works great!

Quick update: So went to court armed with a print out of the RMS guidelines and printed out screenshot of the online wheels/tyre ratio calculator, but it wasn't enough for the magistrate and he adjourned it for a few months so a "RMS expert" can be present.

Turn ignition on. Press "mode" button until over speed appears. Press "up" or "down" arrow until at desired speed setting. Simple.
