  • Hi accentstencil i was reading one of your posts the other day and cannot find it now but did you ever get to the bottom of way your car would idle low when stopping at lights, putting into drive reverse ect. I have the same issue and its driving me up the wall I have tryed many things but nothing has worked so far.
I am unable to reply to post here, I suggest you send a private message or post in the VT-VX section of the forum.
Any advice on this vehicle very much appreciated, Then if you still have any patience with me I will ask about my VT issue(s) Thanks
next bit... As soon as you turn the ignition on before its even started there is a loud grindy noise underneath he thought it was the fuel pump itis forward of that. The sound goes away and comes randomly doesnt seem to affect the vehicle but it sounds nasty! What are the wires that seem to go into the Diff?

You are very knowledgeable (for a cute little monkey) & you (try) to help a lot of people out. GOOD on you. You dont seem sick of answering stupid questions yet, so here is another one. Me personally have a VT with issies of its own but I am trying to gather info for a really old bloke with a WH statesman (v6 2002 model) No engine light or beeps .

You could check the continuity of the two wires going from the window motor to the other end of the door loom. Use the ohm setting on a multimeter. If a wire is broken there will be no reading.
