Windscreen Wipers - VT or later

I am unhappy with my VT2 wipers. Noisy and not particularly effective. The head units are aftermarket ones that frankly are crap and plasticky.

I'm wondering if anyone has experimented with other model wipers - maybe like the VE units and how effective / difficult to fit they were ?

Any experiences, positive or negative will help.

tridon do "flex blades" for any thing now they are excellent i've had them on my VT calais for 2 years and they are quiet and wipe glass clean first time every time. they will fit any car with hook type wiper arms. these are the same style blades as on the VE
