If memory is correct (& l think it is? ) The player who broke, loses. Loser pays for next game or challenger.

Sure are...The player that breaks looses for sinking the black straight up.

Not sure about the payment side though...Never played at the pub...Only at homes

You have to sink all your balls before the black. Otherwise it would be sinking the black whenever you felt like it.

Last time it happen to me in a pub when i was in my early 20's it turned into a lap of the bar a week later same pub I got 8 balled and another run around the pub I didn't even get a shot that time. . It would at the only pub I've been to this year.

Fark. I recall a game against two blokes in the old Kingsley Tavern where we nearly got pantsed. Narrowly avoided it. Wasn’t a great game.

I also think it depends on which pub. Normanville Hotel it would be highly likely to still be the rule. Plus anywhere in the NT I suspect would be the same.
