There seems to be some sort of logic to those 2 letters and 2 numerals as per a qwerty keyboard.

Yeah they are odd in that respect.
I report most of them just so none a missed.
It quite angers me seeing that junk littered across our tidy happy forum.

You only need to report one, when we delete the user we also delete all their content. I can erase them a lot faster than they can post their crap.

This is one spammer who's getting through (that's why I think it's a person rather than a bot). In the last week I've probably deleted a dozen per day that make it through to the spam filter/moderation and apparently there are a lot more who don't even get that far (Darren has the stats).

It's a never ending battle.
