I have been getting this problem for the last two days only on JC.

Sometimes I am reading a thread and the whole page fades away.

Then I have to login again.

Is anyone else finding they are having the same problem.

Any help will be much appreciated.

havent had it happen for me at all

quick google says its a problem with an ad server. id not be throwing my login details into it. probably best you change your password and just check for adware/viruses.

have you tried just hitting the x or cancel on the popup?

I do some surveys now and then the last one I baled out and didn`t finish.
Done virus check.
Did cancel it goes away.
No details given.

Chrome did not work very good for me.

I have been having a similar issue over the past week, even though I am logged in I randomly get the message you can see on the screen shot I took whilst actually reading about the OP problems, asking for password/user name, I have just been closing the message by clicking the red X. Only been popping up probably for the past week and only occassionally. Have a look at the screen capture below, it is the top message I am referring to.
I am using Firefox, and it only happens on Just Commodores not on any of the other car forums I visit.

It's just a permission fluff up by an ad-server provider. What browser it affects will depend on what ad-blocking extensions you have or don't have. I've seen it a few times but only on my S5 using Chrome with zero extensions.

I pretty much only use this site on my iPad or iPhone with chrome and never had a msg like these.
