Vz Calais driver seat not working

My 04 vz Calais driver seat an electric mirrors have stoped working an car won’t lock wen push lock button on key

Yea still no difference some one told me could be seat memory module

car should still lock without seat module
try disconnecting battery for half hour

Yea have done all that passenger seat works fine just drivers seat an electric mirrors have nothing I was told them not working could be the memory module under drivers seat mite be faulty or broken but just wanting to check with someone they may no a bit about it before I spend $400 on new / second hand module

Realistically no one knows.

The way to find out is by back probing the plugs at each connection in the harness with a multimeter. Never stick a multimeter probe in the front of a plug. Probing the circuit proving a fault. That takes a bit of skill and it’s often beyond the reach of most.

Anything less than methodically testing the circuits is guess work known as loading the parts canon. Sure you can get lucky, but is an expensive guess.

Does it unlock with the button?

Try putting the key bottom centre of the windscreen. Thats where the receiver is. That flat bit between the two windscreen vents. See if it locks and unlocks then.
