SS Commodore - Ford Territory ... both camps
Was going through some old pics and I found this thing I photoshopped a few years ago. Was it just financial reasons Holden didn't put VY/VZ front on the V2 Monaro? Anyone got any pics of converted examples?

The sharper edges of the VY/Z doesn't go with the smoother lines of the earlier body imo.

I liked the original VZ Monaro as both front & rear bumpers were brought up to date to suit the car. I figure that if Holden injected a bit more cash they could have made the body a little more angular to match the VZ styling.

As with the VZ photoshopped panels in the photo I'm 50/50 on it.

Plastic moulds would have been easier and cheaper to change, thus the updated bumpers. However the metal press plates were probably determined to be uneconomical too update.
