VY 1 Tonner 5.7l 6 speed manual
Hey guys,
Am chasing the sail planes, all of them, l/h and r/h, and also the encapsulated opera house glass and rubber.
Any help would be greatly apprecited

There’s a thread I did on how to remove them. Tonner and Crewman share the same panels.

They are super hard to find. Expensive to post too because the top one is over length.

thanks Fu Manchu, have had a close look at the crewman stuff, they seem completely different, especially the top one, the crewman one seems to be a lot wider, the side ones also seem a lot squarer

Pretty sure the one I have on mine is off a tonner.

Regular Ute is different.
Cab chassis tonner and crewman share most of the back end. (Chassis is shorter on crewman of course)
Fuel tank, back paneling is all the same. Wiring. Lights and tray (where fitted instead of well body) are all versions with different length.

Well. What do I know.
I went and dug up the details for you. Im wrong. Cab Chassis is different to Dual Cab Chassis. Crewman are hard enough to find. I hate to imagine finding one for a VY or VZ tonner!!!! That are rarer than rocking horse poo!

You might be in luck with the top one. Looks to be the same as regular ute

I wonder if you could use a normal ute panel for the side behind the window and make it work by trimming some off to suit the Tonner.

Thanks again Fu Manchu.
If you don't mind me asking, where did you manage to find those drawings, and do they have the part numbers with then?

VR,VS,VT,VU.VX.VY.VZ.VE caprice. Patrols, Pulsars.
There must be someone out there that knows where they were made in OZ. Maybe hit them up to make another small run of spares for the VY/VZ Onetonner sail bits, Seen a tonner wrecked because insurance difficulty in getting parts. I have 2 that need sail bits.
