- 2000 VTII berlina v6 auto sedan
Hi all I've got a VT v6 with an automatic 4 speed
I was doing a long drive today and under heavy acceleration the auto gearbox is clunking and jerking .
-it almost sounds like the gears are disengaging or the convertor is slipping
Especially up hills and on flat surfaces.
It was doing it terribly on the last part of my trip. I did do a fog light patch into the loom the other day using the relays and wires out of a vt ss but can't physically see a reason that that would affect anything despite it being fine before that.
(I connected everything to where it was on the ss loom)
I did find metal on the Pan dip stick and I'm going to do another check. If I find metal again I'll assume it's cooked but any expert opinions are greatly appreciated.
