You may be able to replace that piece of hose with 'normal' hose but instead of trying to attach it to swirl pot,run it down the pick up and cable tie it there so it hangs into swirl pot.

Won't be a permanent fix but may get you by until you can do a better job.

Well the other pump had the hose on it but so perished it fell apart as soon as i looked at it...
So i had to put it back in with no hose.
Starts and runs now.

Will order a new pump and hose and do it all again in a few weeks.

not how i like to finish things but i got to get it running for tomorrow for work.

if you use normal hose, make it a very quick temp fix. I always use submersible, and it was NLA for a while. Mate gave me a piece he said was sub. it wasnt. Turned to rubber goo in the tank. Empty, clean & refurbished tank after that.

Submersible hose from repco usually. Other places are hit & miss with stock, but repco normally has the cut lengths (I miss when they had the rolls :( )

If I cbf trying to refit it to the swirl pot fitting I just clamp or cable tie it to the sender arm and that way its in the right vicinity at least.

Ok, after some help here....
Going over it again, turn key blows F/P fuse. Take out Relay and replace fuse, all is good, doors work, winds over even starts with Start Ya Bastard.
Replaced Fuel Pump, Replaced Relay

Fault seems to be between Relay and F/P connection.
how do i test it?

* Note, i suck as electronics by the way.

Have you checked the male & female plugs at the fuel pump?

Unbolt the fuse/relay block & look under it. Look where the f/p relay is, as well as the fuel pump fuse.

I'd probably start at the fuse/relay block first. Easiest to start at? If they are ok, then proceed to the fuel pump plugs.

Check the oil pressure switch.
Fuel pump wiring goes via fuel pressure switch to cut fuel pump when engine stalls. Oil pressure switch can internally short and blow fuses.

I will check a wiring diagram later when I get home.

This ^^ helps save the engine if no oil pressure.
Although I haven't heard of the pressure switch shorting, but it's a possibility and easily replaced.

You'll need to check resistance on the loom to your pump and everything in between to trace it down. Maybe initally, just a simple loom inspection to see if any insulation has rubbed through and shorting on bumps
