Sorry for pumping this forum with questions but the fuel pump on the vl has shat itself. This cars been in storage for ages so im just working through it to get her going again. It runs the dual pump setup but im not sure whether the standard external pump on the rb30 efi is the same as the one on my vl ss 304 carb? The part number i pulled off the original pump is 0580434033 but i cant seem to find a cross reference anywhere. If anyone could help that would be awesome, cheers

Look up vk v8 electric pump might be same thing with updated part number or different brand as just seen vdo on ebay for vk pump.

Bosch probably discontinued it if low pressure intank pump.

Got any pics?

To me it looks like a stock vl external pump having previously owned a rb30 but I'm not sure what flow this thing puts out. The tank is like a VK setup too with the twist opening instead of the 5 bolt setup for removing the internal pump. I'm hoping whatever I come up with the regulator sorts the pressure out. I'll have to put a gauge on it before I hook it all up.

Yeah seems strange does look like an efi setup especially with sender unit...also looks like been messed with.

Does it have extra low fuel plug & extra fuel hose like brock/sle etc have from factory?

Even vk efi 6 has bolt in sender unit with 3/8 or 1/2 pickup pipe & external pump to bracket with dampener on it then filter between it & fuel line to front.

All I could find was an ebay ad calling it a booster pump with possible replacement number but nothing about specs on pressure or flow ratings.

Booster Pump 0 580 464 032 - 0 580 464 033 - 0 580 464 038 - 0 580 464 048
