I have a 2017 VF SS Sportswagon. It has SSLHD springs, 20 by 10 inch simmons with 275/30/20 tyres running 40psi. The last set of tyres only lasted 8000km wearing out on the extreme inside on both sides.

The standard camber adjustment has been maxed out and it’s still carrying negative 1 3/4 on the left and negative 2 deg on the right.

I want to raise the rear as it bottoms out with the family in it on the **** roads down here in SA. I figure SLHD should be enough.

The 2 options I have found for increasing the camber adjustment on the rear are the Kmac turn buckle arms or the coil over option.

Just not sure which will give me enough adjustment on the cambe to get the tyres wearing correctly.
Any input is appreciated.

For you to have those camber issues, you have some worn bushes or something is bent.

Best bet is find a place that can determine what is actually bent or worn.

A good start would be shocks.....Yeah the roads maybe shite, but you shouldn't be bottoming out..

That was my thoughts too. Also looks like its sitting to low & has been scrapping?

Definitely needs attention.

I know the roads around his area and they're not that bad.....I go on worse when I go on my trips checking out what's sitting in paddocks and I don't scrape with my 2" lowered VC....

looks like its rubbing on the inside of the wheel arch ? as that side wear shouldnt be contacting the road as u can see in the pic the road contact isnt that bad so id look for a rub point, my stock 9.5" with 275 that low only touches on one inside under large pumps so if ur wider or offset is different it will just wear out over short time

Looking at the photo of his wagon looks like it would scrap the tyres very easily, especially with cactus shocks & or the family in the car?

Definitely doesn’t look like road wear in that location to me either.
Should be easy to spot what it’s hitting though, plenty of witness marks I’d think.

I have had the wheels off and there is no ‘rub marks’ to be seen, as this was my 1st thought. I might take it to ‘peddles’ and get them to test the shocks.

Seems you don’t know all of them then
