Hey gang,
Just some more vague information which I would like your opinion on.. ha ha..
After pulling both heads I have found one valve tip & rocker arm to have gouging. The other 15 had no gouging like this (perfectly flat valve tip/smooth rocker arm tip). Wondering if anyone has a similar previous experience and discovered the cause... I am waiting for a tool to check the valve/guide clearance but other things I could think of are:
-Lack of oil supply
-Faulty rocker bearings (trunion seems ok)
-Faulty lifter causing excessive valve lash (the associated lifter was not hard/filled with oil like some others on removal)
-Bent pushrod (the associated one passes the roll test)
Are these a reasonable possibility?
Edit: car has 200k km
