Bought fibreglass high console for it from JC Bodykits $700...steep but no way was going to pay 1500 plus for cracked 2nd hand item needing repairs & paint.

Was at cousins other week we popped back screen out little bit of surface rust beginning otherwise in couple of years would become a problem...boot channel & beaver will need fair bit of labour as expected but not too bad considering heaps worse cars out there people selling as 10k projects.

Also dropped off spare wheel delete panel as battery going in boot.

vl housing with 25mm chopped off each end....will take 15x7 aero with 255/60 tyre or 20x9.5 yeah buds 275'ish tyre

Probably should have gone big bearing & coil-over brackets so could swap it into other cars.

Mine is tucked away out of sight where it can safely collect dust...

JC Bodykits Aus on fb...was easy to deal with & didn't mind chinwag about vk's & burnout cars etc

Does other commo interior parts but knows Im hanging for sv89/sv5000 airbox if he can get his hands on one to copy.

They do other bits like rear vn-vs 1/4 window pieces that usually disintergrate in your hands if looked at funny...

Cousin has started some of the rust work on the vk...sent pics of beaver repairs & remade small inner panels at bottom of the quarters.Unfortunately nobody will notice it as covered by plastic bumper & part above it.

Next week think he said will be boot channels & possibly clean up windscreen sections then after that boot mods
