Slip Ring Failure?

hellooooo, So I've just recently got a vz commodore 2004 and i was wondering if a slip ring failure could be key orientated? or if it is souly a slip ring. Ive just had my car obd2 scanned and all the codes relating to the PIM and BCM cleared except the Slip Ring failure. Would fixing this somehow fix the BCM and PIM codes related to things such as Wheel speed sensors, MAS being high voltage etc?

Would help if you posted the exact error code for the slip ring failure.

I only got the IDs for the codes because the shop didnt print out the codes, They only put the ones that cleared or something;

P0113-00
C0800-03
C0245-00
C0045-28

Slip ring failed is a very common code to be recoded in the history,
That code does not activate the MIL.

Does your keys Unlock and Lock your doors ok ?,
If so, don’t worry to much about it.

The slip ring is replaceable, but MHO, not urgent.

It’s just that when you turn the key to start it, it doesn’t always make a good contact.

As my VY and VZ record these DTC’s most of the time, and the Key Heads work perfectly.

Its causing the powertrain alert to be up constantly and I need to re register it. Would fixing this solve the powertrain light?
