Ive been using a resmed airsense 10 autoset for about 4yrs now. Which variant are you using? The over pressure could be caused by the machine being a straight cpap rather than apap? I think the straight cpap is the elite rather than autoset. This model won’t automatically adjust your pressures based on AHI events through the night, it will blow at a constant pressure regardless.
Do you have ramping set up? This allows for a more gradual increase in pressure while you get used to the machine. Once you are used to it, you can turn it off for a more immediate effect. Humidity is another crucial function as well (assuming you have the climateline hose?) i personally use the second highest humidity setting as I find I get terribly dry otherwise, but it’s a matter of trial and error for each individual user.
what mask are you using? I started off with nasal pillows and now use the full face F20, which sits under the nose and covers the mouth as well. Very good if you’re a mouth breather like me
