Push button start?

Another dumb question ahaha, How would i go about installing a Push Button Start instead of cranking the key over? If it is possible..Any ideas or feedback regarding would be greatly appreciated.

It's definitely possible. I believe someone did a how-to for it. IT still required you putting the key in the ignition and turning it to the on position but you had the option of either using the key or a button to actually start the engine.

Effectively you are just looping a momentary push button into the start circuit. I think the how-to adds a few more features into the wiring though.

There are a couple of after-market products out there...

...but you'd need to disable the factory security system first otherwise (as mentioned above) you'd still need to insert the key anyway, which kind of defeats the purpose.
