So I'm in the market for a new car and after searching and searching and late nights tossing and turning on what to get I've decided on a VY commodore.

On the financial side of things im forcing my self to stick with the S Pack 3.8 Litre 5 Speed... (Its gotta be a 5 speed Haha)

BUT... On the odd chance the bank is feeling friendly and generous, I've sourced a VY SS 6 Speed out for around 11 - 12k... (Fingers Crossed)

I need some opinions/advice on what to get. The good points and bad points of both cars Etc.

Thanks for the time

Obviously... But being a V8, all Parts/modifications are going to be a lot more pricey... Also fuel consumption is another con etc.

Not exactly helping with the question :p

Unless you've got a heavy foot, economy isn't a problem, insurance will be more on the ss, mods are worth the same in the end, the ss has better resale value, ss has driving lights, ss has a v8 and at the end of the day, you could just get an sv8

Is that more what you were after?

Ok - your stock VYSS is going to have an output that the V6 with a ton of cash spent on it has. As for fuel usage - how many km do you do?
