People May Face Jail for Lending Cars out for Weddings

I just noticed this is a very old article.

I saw it on FB last night and had a chuckle and moved on. Don't try and over-analyze it, no law against lending a car, if they give you fuel money or fill it up for you, it's not a payment, it's reimbursement, different things. I guess back in 2010, some limo service or private car hire business jumped up and down about losing revenue due to mates lending cars so it hit the news.
