Yeah but the calais is nothing special to ruin. The only difference to a executive is: Ugly wood grain and power options and abit of silver on the bottom half and seats. were a clubsport is $10.000. so for a base this is $3000 car. buy a clubby kit for $500 tri spokes for $500 respray $2000 and it will look way better. No offence mate its just a vs commodore there not that rare theres 1 on every corner. The pearl is abit try hard but thats just my opinion... also those rockstar stickers are fully sikk bro cheers.

Its not a clubby though is it? Make it a clubby lookalike and it can join the massive crowd of clubby lookalikes. Theres one on every corner.

At the moment it looks pretty unique to me. I dont particularly like the front bar but the owner of the car does and thats the only thing that matters. I'd lose the stickers too but thats just me.

The wheels look great, I might see if I can find some. I dont want 20s but I am going to see if I can find something similar in 18s. The paint is excellent, please dont change it. As soon as you can though, get the rest done..

Its different, the whole package comes together nicely. Very nice car, do it your way listen to no-one and build the car YOU like, just as you're doing. Well done.

Man thats a nice Calais. Theres a pic of this exact car somewhere on facebook at the moment, people who know nothing about these Holdens were trying to argue with me, they are saying that that is a VS SS front bumper bar and it never came out on the Calais. I explained that the VS Calais Series 2 did come out with that bumper bar and it is stock, but in the end gave up because it was like trying to explain it to a brick wall.

haha yeah its a vs calais series 2 bar ...can ya send me a link of where the pic is at on facebook?...just got it registered as a v8 today and its getting some shiny engine bay bits before nats this year..ill take the stickers off after nats as promised to the guy that painted it..i wuld advertise for him.

It's a Calais, leave it a calais, tastefully modded. (minus the wheels , a set of shadow chrome WH Grange's would look the tits)

thanks guys, booked it in for 3" exhaust with single 100cpi hi flow cat on monday...with a flange to dump at the diff..should sound good!
