Cleaned up well after probably 4 goes with the Bissell spot cleaner thing my wife had bought a while back, to clean our couches. At least it got some use!! Was a bit fiddly getting the new ones in, especially the flat piece on the front rail that slips under the carpet. I had to use the existing rail on the drivers chair, as that little flat piece on the SS seat rail had snapped, so that was a bit annoying getting the rails off and swapping it over.
Was good to do it all myself. I feel like I’d lost a bit confidence in doing things on cars myself, after not owning something like this for almost 15 years. So it’s been that long since I fiddled with things and did my own servicing, replacing bits and pieces and just generally having a go at stuff before I thought about our sourcing the job. Anyway, all went well, and I’m pretty happy with the result considering it only cost me $250 and my time over the weekend cleaning them up and swapping them over.
