Umm, seek, I think you mean you have 147kW, not 90kW. Commodores haven't had 90kW since the mid 80s...

i will add my 5 cents worth. i have been saving up for my vk ever since i was like 7, i dunno if they did it where ever you are but you got a speacil book kinda thing and every tuesday you would bring in however much money in this book and put in the basket and the bank lady would take it away. that was during primary school to about grade 4 anyway . then i started working with my dad earning 35 bucks a day, put that in the bank and so forth. in the end i ended up with 1700 and put my vk.

Well done Scott. It really means something to you when you buy your car using your own hard earned money. Especially if you can buy it outright and owe nobody anything!

I did a quick look on eBay. I found one for 3-4000, and acouple for under 6000.

There was a VS wagon for 5,500.

Last week was one cheaper though.

The Trading post website revealed the follwing cars in Qld under $5000:

Holden Acclaim 1995 $3,000 QLD
Holden Commodore VR 1994 $4,500 QLD
Holden Commodore 1994 $5,000 QLD
