Can I ask how did the car sound? How bad was the drone, if there was any?

I wish I knew.. I was going to drive the car tomorrow, but now I can't..

I'm a V6 driver, the stock GenIII exhaust rumble is awesome. I can only imagine what it'd be like with a zorst..

lol stock gen3 rumble? There is no rumble.

I did my exhaust a while ago 2 1/2 twin cat back.... Droned abit until I put the Pacemaker headers on..... This made the sound alot deaper so it not as bad

Not really, my stocky cat's were choking my engine once i had the head's and cam done, placed in the high flow's and it was an entirely a new car. It all depends on the application. I don't know any LS1 owner's who havent added high flow cat's when they have done full zorst.

for a stock engine a cat wont do crap all, when u go spending thosands on internals etc... tune , edit whats $300 buks any way.

If you say so, although i know many exhaust places and tuners who will say otherwise when it comes to gen3's

lol stock gen3 rumble? There is no rumble.

His exhaust was also f*cked, that's why he replaced it.. So that could've added to it..

It made the rumble at about 5000rpm, sounded deep to me..

It was probably just because I'd never a V8 until I drove his car.. And it's always just after stepping out of an LPG 6..

Yeh, being screwed would explain alot. A dead standard system you can't hear a bloody thing, they really need to make it so it sounds tough
