Currently working on getting the best fuel economy I can out of the 6.0 in my G8 before I go throwing aftermarket parts on it.
my current best is 8.88l/100km which I think is pretty respectable considering the size of the car and it's a 6.0 V8, but I feel like it's capable of getting down to 8.4l/100km I'm just not sure where else to make adjustments.
using hptuners, and right now I've just bumped up the cruise timing 2 degree, set the DFCO pretty aggressive, lowered the TCC enable speeds, and dropped the TCC slip rpm. I've got DoD disabled.
Before the DoD disable I averaged about 9.4l/100km and after the dod disable without tuning I was getting 10.6l/100km.
