Is my car worth anything? Manual VY s pac green

hey everyone I’m having trouble finding any info on what my car is worth as there is NONE for sale which has me thinking it’s a rare find, it’s 2003 VY spac with the 5spd getrag 260 and 3.8eco in hothouse green.

any info would be awesome cheers.

So stick a price on it and see what bites you get

Yep, they're kind of a rare find, but what your car is worth depends on the condition, so we need some more information, such as:

- How many kilometres? I think you said 260,000km in your post
- Any logbook history, maintenance?
- What condition is it in mechanically? (Engine, gearbox, suspension, diff, etc)
- What condition is it in cosmetically? Paint peeling? Body straight without dents, crash damage, rust? Does the interior have any tears and is it wearing out anywhere?
-Any modifications?

Using Redbook and the classifieds such as Carsales gives you a good estimate of what they're worth, and whether they're moving for the price that they're listed for...

Also some pictures of your car will help us figure out what it's worth...

thankyou heaps for the reply’s. It’s at nearly 300,000km but runs awesome and shifts very smooth and it’s got log book up until 225,000km, body is completely straight and it only has peeling on bonnet and a bit of fade on the roof, all original including the 5 17” rims,

It’s got the green checkered interior looks cool and is immaculate apart from a small tear on the drivers seat but I’ve got sheepskins on the fronts, do you think the car is worth holding onto for another 10 years?

I'd say list it for $6000 on Facebook and Gumtree and see if you get any interest, also list the flaws and be honest... If not, drop the price if you're desperate...

Ultimately, this decision is up to you, but if you don't need to sell it, I'd just keep the car...

As above being a Holden Eco manual there might be someone who would part with a wad to own it, 'rare' doesn't make it collectible. Majority of the current market is going to make comparisons to other vehicles though. When you can get a BL Mazda 3 in running order and a roadie for 5k it pretty much tells you everything

Honestly this is a crystal ball question......

Look after anything it'll last forever....Neglect it, it won't last too long.

If you think the price will go up....Better luck guessing the lotto numbers for div 4 prize pool
