had a day off during the week so I detailed and claybarred the VR. pretty happy with the results. the paint is so much smoother and it seems to be looking cleaner for longer.

It's amazing the amount of crap the clay bar removes. Have you polished & waxed as well ?

it's been a while since I've updated this thread.

as of late she's served me well as a comfy work car. I've recently put on a new catback exhaust, overhauled the brakes and just given it a major service and replaced the tie rod ends.

I've picked up some new wheels for it. I got a set of series 3 Caprice wheels to go on it soonish. just need to track down a centre cap as one is missing and get them mirror polished.

now for a few pics.

that's why I put on a new catback zorst, the rear muffler was rusted and one of the tail pipes dropped.

and the wheels I've got to go on it.

also going to get the windows re-tinted soonish and go as dark as I can for summer.

if anyone has a spare centre cap that they are willing to sell, inbox me!

got a 4th cap today from the wreckers so I now have a full set. also got a camber kit, just need to get that installed and have the wheels polished and then they will be going on the car. thinking of maybe doing thin whitewalls too.

thanks anyway. I paid $50 for the cap so total cost for the wheels so far is $300. the wheels are in good over all condition too.
