Hi All.
I am wanting to put Deep Dish Rims on my VE HSV R8 Clubsport, As we all know this cannot be done with the big brakes.
Has anyone down graded their rear Rotors and Calipers to smaller ones
So you can put Deep Dish Rims on the Back.
There must be a way to do this,
without spending a **** tone of money. EG using Standard Commodore system.
Any help would be very much appreciated, this is doing my head in.
Edit; My question is about modifying Rear Brakes, Not what style of rim or size or offset. ITS ABOUT CHANGING REAR HSV BRAKES TO STANDARD VE COMMODORE, IF ANY HAS DONE THIS PLEASE HELP. ANY HSV OWNER WILL UNDERSTAND WHY I WANT TO DO THIS.

Are you thinking like old school kidney mag, Centreline style deep dish or similar? Interesting to see if it can be done, considering most of that era run drum brake rears.

Best bet would be to find someone with a standard rear end and try them on.

No
No more moden rims than that.
No im thinking about v6 brakes instead of hsv, Because you can put deep dish on a standard commodore.
