Also just another question What is the best way to get more performace out of a VK. are there any home made mods that can be done, and how expensive is any mods that can be done buy a mechanic? or is there anything that can be done buy a mechanic?

im sure there are heaps of mod's out there that can improve performance, i mean, you can soup up a lawn mower, so you can do anything to a car. as for a mechanic doing mod's to impovie it, why pay those guy's to do it when you can do it your self.
