At minimum I would get a fully built 6l80e and a truetrac diff. I suggest just build the whole drive train as it will find a weak spot and you will start breaking parts (axles, driveshafts, etc)

If l was going to replace, l'd go the 6l90. Supposed to take more hp?

I would go 4l80e as it is basically a t400 with an overdrive

they only came in American models of SUV' and "trucks". But plenty of performance shops sell them for around 5-6k.

Too much money. My car is an auto and will not be hitting the Nitrous off the line.

I have had a 6L80e built and I have a warranty in writing for up to 900HP - yes using a Truetrac and 3.45 gears
