Gearbox Conversion

my vk transmission is gone and a mates vh was defected, on the plus side he gave me the vh and im wondering if i can convert it, the vk has electronic sensor timing with the sensor and pickups on the torque convertor. E.S.T. flywheels are very hard to come by. could i disable the est and put in the vhs ignition system, if yes what do i have to do and what parts do i change? any body out there know? cheers

yeah mate,rip out the est sensor and distributor etc and throw it in the bin.you just need to run a power wire from the fuse box and hook it up to the blue motor dizzy,and drop it in[timed correctly of course].thats basically it.apart from hooking up the coil etc.
