Hi - my readout (on Mylink screen) always showing 18, 19 deg C etc when outside is clearly warmer. Is there a simple fix? - don't want to get the dealer to charge me excessive amounts to fault find. Should I hit it with something heavy and sharp?

Thanks

Thanks Ricey - hoping for a reset or something rather than buy new parts on a 3 year old car. Just out of warranty unfortunately.....

If it's just out of warranty I'd still chance my hand an ask the dealer if Holden will cover it.

I know it's just a sensor which could almost be considered a consumable but it's only 3 years old and it never hurts nor does it cost anything to ask the question.

Mine was reporting incorrectly since engine out, had bumper off to replace air con bits and on refit works perfectly. Mystery o_O

Ah so that must be the reset algorithm. Disconnect + reconnect sensor = correct temperature ;)

Don't need to disconnect it to remove bumper though....
