I need to replace my k frame so c asn I leave the trans attached just to raise the motor or

Get one of these…

Holds the engine and you can remove the stuff under it. Sits across the top with the rubber feet on the chassis where the guards bolt up. Chain holds the engine. Torqued by the handles there.

This one was about $130.
