Door courtesy/puddle lights

I was thinking about putting some puddle lights in the doors of my SSV ute , had a look under the doors and there are cutouts there for them.
Beauty ! So of to the wreckers and bought some glove box lights and a switch so I could put one in the console bin too.The glove box lights havent changed, I was pulling them out of VR's and VT's .
While I was at it I installed some foot well lighting as well.
Anyways, here are some pics.

The foot well lights are connected to the dome light and then the puddle lights to these.

So you used glove box lights as the puddle lights? And they fit straight into the existing cut-outs?

I bought the wiring kit for the wells off ebay and they came with the globes and with the ex-glove box lights I just bought the same size in LED from jcar.

they've been using those lights in commodores since the VB, used in Astra's as well, I've got a couple of spares that I had when I had the VC, VL and VT
