Welcome to Just Commodores, a site specifically designed for all people who share the same passion as yourself.
Did I post about the rear seat catch? It’s also used on Vauxhall Astra Opel Vectra as well.Appreciate the ongoing reports on your Crewmans (Crewmen?), and I hope that I don't have to use all the info and how to's that you are digging up.
I got under the car for a good look. If I really push it around theres movement but not from the bearing. In the rubber around it. No cracks. Looks in good condition. I’m happy it’s ok but keen to make sure I have a spare. It's normally the rubber that cracks on the bearing that goes before the actual bearing.
The change in the bearing not CV was VT2.
Fu if possible get a gen bearing the aftermarket ones are pretty loose in the boot and if you bounce the shaft enough they will let go, even when they are new. However the gen unit is really stiff and doesn't suffer from this.I got under the car for a good look. If I really push it around theres movement but not from the bearing. In the rubber around it. I just noticed that. I can take that apart by the look.I believe it's the same centre bearing as previous gen commos and that the housing is the only difference
