A seven-year-old cancer patient granted a wish after finishing his treatment didn't choose a trip to Disneyland — instead, he asked to blow up a building.
Californian boy Maxwell Hinton, who suffers a cancer of the nerve tissue known as neuro-blastoma, imploded a massive city-owned grain mill in Ohio on Sunday as a crowd of up to 40,000 gathered to watch,
The boy said he wanted to explode a building after seeing it done on TV.
"I watch MythBusters and they inspired me to blow a building up," he said.
The Make-A-Wish Foundation organised for Maxwell to carry out the explosion, which was the final phase of a four-year project in the city of Huron.
The 4.5 hectare property that housed the building will now be sold.
That is a pretty awesome wish.
