Those prices seem to be a bit more realistic, and would be close to what id expect to pay if i was buying a premade computer.AMD Power PC Box only
AMD Athlon X2 5200+ $499
AMD Athlon X2 4850e $535
AMD Athlon X2 6000+ $550
Asus M2N-MX-SE
2 Gig DDR2 RAM
256 meg video shared with ram
320GB SATAII 7200rpm HDD
Lite-on Dual Layer DVD Burner
Black/Silver 450W Midi Tower FRONT USB
Any good?

The only thing I dont like in that setup is the Motherboard, I used one on my nephews, its a very basic $50 board, doesnt leave much for upgrading later, and also a graphics card that shares with the ram, is normally onboard and isnt that greatest especially for gaming. BUT its a start and if your not a gamer, or just do basic stuff its pretty sweet. As a general rule AMD computers work out cheaper spec to spec, but they both have their advantages.
