Those prices seem to be a bit more realistic, and would be close to what id expect to pay if i was buying a premade computer.
The only thing I dont like in that setup is the Motherboard, I used one on my nephews, its a very basic $50 board, doesnt leave much for upgrading later, and also a graphics card that shares with the ram, is normally onboard and isnt that greatest especially for gaming. BUT its a start and if your not a gamer, or just do basic stuff its pretty sweet. As a general rule AMD computers work out cheaper spec to spec, but they both have their advantages.

Hmmmm, some food for thought. I'm just so confused with this stuff. I don't know what to get. I don't wanna spend the cash to find out it's not what I want, did that on my last computer and it's so close to being thrown through a wall at times it's not funny. I don't mind paying for a system that is overkill as long as it keeps up with what I want. Buying a car is so much easier, at least you give it a test drive but with computer it's a lucky dip (well for me anyway).

lol

Just try to get a computer that uses quality components, go overkill on the ram, and get a seperate graphics card. On board graphics are usually shat

If you find a computer, just goto google and type in the part ie. Asus M2N-MX-SE review. Then read some reviews about it. you'll soon get a good idea on what brands are good and what parts are good.

Whatever you do, don't pay that much for that system.

Just roughly, the general specs.

3.0ghz
4GB Ram
500G HD
19in1 card reader
22in screen
Vista
surround sound.

The company is DIY IT supply, and there across the road from Hindmarh stadium Manton Street)

You'll need to pay a deposit before he starts building it tho.

If you don't need the accessories, you can probably whack $3 or 400 off that price tag.

I don't know if I was lucky but i'm pretty sure I paid bout $80 for the Galaxy GEFORCE 9500GT (256mb onboard?), about 5 months ago... can't remember but I will double check when I get home...... Aside from that the prices look pretty good :D
