Just looking for some advice about replacing a tired old Series 1 VN V6 with a later model V6.
From what I can see on the forum, it looks like the VS Ecotech Series III with the 4LO-E gearbox would be a good candidate ?
Is this a straight swap or do I need to mix-n-match any engine/box mounting hardware ?
Any tips appreciated. There is a VS V6 for sale at my local Holden wreckers - driveable, with rego - for $450. This seems pretty cheap for a motor, let alone a complete runner....:hmmm:
